WOMEN'S HEALTH |
In the first 7 days after birth, you will receive 3-4 comprehensive, nurturing in-home postpartum care visits.
Well mama checks will include vital signs and maternal health, breastfeeding support, and the sharing of information and ideas to help you feel supported both physically and emotionally. Well baby checks include the newborn metabolic screening, CCHD screening, vital signs, weight checks, latch support, and guidance in newborn care. It is important to me that you relax and try to stay in bed for the first week postpartum. So I bring the care to you. |
We serve women from onset of womanhood through menopause. We strive to meet the needs of our clients in and outside of the childbearing year. Annual exams, wellness checks, thyroid and functional lab work and consultation, contraception, preconception counseling.

COMPLIMENTARY THERAPIESGet extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey and beyond. I believe in collaborative care, and the sourcing of many talents to give each woman the best health and life experience possible. I consult with, and refer to, various providers in Anchorage in accordance with each client's needs. This list includes chiropractors, pediatric dentists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, among various others.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPSFollowing a private visit with me, mothers and their partners will take part in prenatal, educational sessions based on the Birth Social™ model of care with other couples due around the same month. Each woman is given a workbook when they begin care called Birth Social: A Complete Prenatal Guide. This guide covers topics such as nutrition, exercise, breastfeeding, birth supplies, water birth, newborn care, and much more. Mothers are able to cultivate sound prenatal knowledge while developing deeper bonds with other women. This prenatal group transitions seamlessly into a postpartum mothers group that Elevate clients have access to for the first year of postpartum.
