Complete Maternity and Newborn Care

My clients enjoy the comforting reassurance of their care schedule. Each mother has a prenatal appointment once a month until 28 weeks of pregnancy, every other week between 28-36 weeks, and once a week from 36 weeks until delivery. Inclusive to home birth client care is my in-depth postpartum care offering where mother and baby are seen in-home for the first week postpartum, and in office at 2, 4, and 6 weeks.

Homebirth

Enjoy our most sought after care package. Delight in water therapy and water birth if your heart desires. I bring the tub, and when my team and I leave, no one will be able to tell that you delivered a baby at home just hours earlier. Revel in the comfort of the sacred act of home birth, surrounded by those you love and choose.

Hospital Birth

Getting the OB you want at your delivery happens at around 25% of hospital OB-led births. In addition to comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care, I offer Midwife-as-Doula services to my clients who seek the comforting continuity of midwifery care and attention, but are required or prefer to deliver in hospital.

"Jessica is an amazing midwife! I can’t believe we didn’t go through midwifery for my first born. The level of care and knowledge she has is amazing. You will truly feel empowered through the process and I have learned so much from her compared to when I went with Providence Hospital. The difference is night and day. I wouldn’t change a single thing, and I will forever be grateful to Jessica for making everything such an easy process. If I was able to go through a natural birth, so can you! And I did it because of her and her amazing team! "

Why Choose Advanced Midwifery?

With my clinical practice Advanced Midwifery, I am honored to help answer the call of women everywhere to bring birth back into the sacred circle of community, making the motherhood experience a shared one that uplifts and supports all involved. By giving my clients unlimited access to educational classes and resources throughout their care, I offer them access to the knowledge they need to feel strong in their choices in care. The benefits of prenatal and postpartum education are undeniable. Education and social support during labor and in the weeks prior to and after the birth provide a vital service to women. The research reveals that comprehensive prenatal education in combination with supportive providers is shown to:
  • Reduce the number of inductions and medications used in labor
  • Reduce the cesarean section rate
  • Reduce pre-term delivery
  • Reduce incidence of low birth weight infants
  • Reduce the need for higher level neonatal care
  • Reduce the number of emergency room visits in pregnancy
  • Result in significantly better prenatal knowledge
  • Increase both provider and client satisfaction in care
  • Increase perceived preparedness for labor, delivery, and early parenting
  • Increase breastfeeding initiation and duration

What Our Clients Are Saying
"Jessica was our midwife with our last baby and she was kind, attentive, gentle and thorough throughout the entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. Nothing was overlooked and we were never judged about our choices regarding informed consent with our happy healthy baby girl. I can not say enough about the compassion and encouragement Jessica provides throughout the entire birth process for the entire family.
Would definitely recommend her to any woman wanting to be a part of her own birth process and wants a kind and compassionate midwife along for the experience"
